Hermann Zapf Movie Poster Design
For this project, I was tasked with creating a faux movie poster for a famous designer in history. I chose to research typographer and designer Hermann Zapf.
I started by researching Zapf's famous designs and processes, as well as examples of his work, and created a process book. With this information, I began making sketches as well. I chose to feature one of his most well-known creations, the Zapf Dingbats, as well as his typefaces Palatino and Optima.
